GREAT TREKKING OF THE CENTRAL MACIZO

Tour of the Massif de los Urrieles de Los Picos de Europa

The Massif Central or Massif de los Urrieles de Los Picos de Europa is undoubtedly the most rugged and spectacular.

In this Massif are the highest peaks of the National Park with its Torrecerredo roof (2,650 m) and its iconic peak, the Naranjo de Bulnes or Pico Urriellu.

In this Trekking we will tour the Massif, following part of the Extrem Ring route, sleeping in its mythical Refuges such as Collado Jermoso, Naranjo de Bulnes and Jou de Los Cabrones .

These are some of the highlights of this Trekking:

  • Watch the sunset from the Collado Jermoso Refuge
  • Go up to Horcados Rojos and cross the lunar landscape of the Jou de Los Boches
  • Sleep near the base of Naranjo de Bulnes
  • Pass through the Jou Negro next to Torrecerredo, the highest Peak in the National Park.
  • Go down the Cuesta del Trave and the Canal de Amuesa to the town of Bulnes

This Trekking is aimed at people who have mountain experience and good physical preparation. Read the itinerary of each stage carefully and if you have any questions about physical or technical preparation, do not hesitate to ask us for more information. We are at your disposal.
